Welcome to your NPPE Exam Preparation Coaching Program. The National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE) is a mandatory step toward becoming a licensed Engineer or Geoscientist in most Canadian provinces. This exam focuses on ethics, professionalism, law, and regulation, which define professional conduct in Canada.

This course is designed to:

Course Introduction

This course is carefully structured based on the blueprint topics outlined on the official NPPE website. All content is derived from the recommended reference books listed there, ensuring alignment with the actual exam expectations.

Throughout the course, you’ll encounter “Quick Tips” embedded within the topic explanations. These tips provide valuable insight into how exam questions are typically framed and what kind of understanding is needed to tackle similar scenarios. These practical notes are a unique advantage of this course—something you’re unlikely to get when preparing on your own.

Each sub-module section contains a PowerPoint-style presentation at the bottom of the page. You can expand it to full screen and learn as if you're viewing a traditional slide deck.

You’ll also find the same content in a website text format, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred learning style.

At the end of all the module, you’ll find 10 sets of 10-question quiz (total of 100 questions) covering the topics you just learned. Take the quiz using what you’ve studied so far to test your understanding. Don’t worry if your score isn’t high on your first attempt—many students experience this. That’s exactly why this course exists: to help you learn how the exam really works.

After completing the quiz, move on to the Quiz Explanation section. Here, each question is broken down to explain the reasoning behind the correct answer. You'll also learn how to approach similar questions and avoid common traps that can lead to wrong answers. This section includes tips and tricks on how the exam can mislead you—critical knowledge for boosting your performance.

Once you've reviewed the explanations, I recommend retaking the quiz and applying what you've learned. If you get it all right the first time—congratulations! If not, that’s perfectly fine. You're here to learn, and you're on the right path.
